PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drainage of drain water in a blower with a silencing box including a drain pan, while securing an air volume by regulating an air flow in the drain pan without expanding a height dimension of the body. SOLUTION: The blower with the silencing box includes a centrifugal blower 8 in the box-like body 3, also includes a body-bottom opening 10 opened on a bottom which is one side of the body 3 not opposed to a casing suction port. The blower with the silencing box connects the drain pan 11 to the body-bottom opening 10, fixes a blower holding stand 9 which holds the centrifugal blower 8 at the body-bottom opening 10, and is provided with an air flow straightening vane 13 which has a vertical rectifying surface to the bottom of the drain pan 11. Accordingly, it is possible to provide the blower with the silencing box which improves the drainage of the drain water while regulating the air flow in the drain pan 11 and securing the air volume without expanding the height dimension of the body.
