PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of preventing the occurrence of noises. SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes a fluid transmission part 90 having a housing part 92, in which a vane chamber 95 with a viscous fluid filled inside is formed, and a vane part 93 partitioning the inside of the vane chamber 95 into a pair of fluid chambers 96, 97 relative to a rotational direction and movable in the vane chamber 95 in the rotational direction along with the relative rotation between a first rotation member and a second rotation member, and allowing the housing part 92 and the vane part 93 to transmit power mutually via the viscous fluid or by being contacted in the rotational direction. The fluid transmission part 90 includes a fluid resistance adjusting part 94 increasing fluid resistance by the viscous fluid of the fluid chamber 97 on one side with its volume relatively reduced along with the relative rotation between the first rotation member and the second rotation member in comparison with fluid resistance by the viscous fluid of the fluid chamber 96 on the other side when the power of an electric motor is transmitted to an output shaft.
