PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain oil in a filter element before replacement while suppressing splash of oil on a worker and vehicle components when replacing the cartridge type filter element of a vehicle oil filer. SOLUTION: This drain device for the vehicle oil filter includes: a bracket 1 detachably fixed to a front axle 102; a lever member 4 having one end vertically swingably supported by the bracket 1; needles 5 arranged on the lever member 4 so that the pointed ends thereof are directed to the bottom surfaces of a plurality of filter elements 101B; and a gutter member 8 which is positioned below the lever member 4, which has one end supported by the bracket 1, and which is inclined downward toward the other end. The other end of the lever member 4 is swung upward, and the bottom surfaces of the filter elements 101B are plunged and ruptured by the needles 5. Thereby, the oil led to flow out of the ruptured portions of the bottom surfaces of the filter elements 101B is received by the gutter member 8, led to flow downward, and discharged into a vessel 103.
