PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device and sliding fittings, which reduce noises in opening/closing, which are actuated with a small force, and which operate at an adequate speed after that. SOLUTION: This sliding device 10 sliding on a guide rail 2 together with the opening/closing of the sliding fittings 100 includes a slider 11 which can slide in the state of contact with the guide rail 2 and which can be relatively displaced while rolling on the guide rail 2 with respect to the rightward/leftward motion of the sliding fittings 100 by a force smaller than when sliding on the guide rail 2, and a stopper 15 which regulates the displacement of the slider 11. In the opening/closing of the sliding fittings 100, the slider 11 is relatively displaced while rolling on the guide rail 2 with respect to the rightward/leftward motion of the sliding fittings 100 without sliding on the guide rail 2, until displacement is regulated by the stopper 15, and slides on the guide rail 2 after the displacement is regulated by the stopper 15.
