The present invention relates to a file fastener for binding paper, and more particularly, to a file fastener capable of being opened from the front and back sides thereof, which enables users to bind paper from both the front side and the back side of a file such that users may turn the pages and read paper in the order in which the sheets of paper have been bound, that is, from the top to the bottom of the file, and which also enables users to conveniently and quickly extract, from the file, a portion of the sheets of paper having been bound in series, thereby achieving improved user convenience. The file fastener of the present invention comprises two binding bases (10, 10') and two binding pieces (20). Each of the binding bases (10, 10') includes a binding plate (11) having upper and lower guide rails (11a) arranged in the left and right directions, a binding piece groove (11b) formed between the upper and lower guide rails (11a), through-holes (11c) formed laterally and equidistantly from the center of the binding piece groove (11b), and 2 to 4 sliders (13) arranged at the left and right sides of the two through-holes (11c), such that the sliders (13) are movable along the guide rails (11a). One of the binding bases (10, 10') is arranged at the rear surface of a back binder board (3) and the other of the binding bases (10, 10') is arranged at the front surface of an intermediate binder board (2). Each of the binding pieces (20) includes a shorter binding piece part (21) penetrating through the through-hole (11c) of the binding base (10') that is fixed at the intermediate binder board (2), said shorter binding piece part being connected to the binding plate (11); and a longer binding piece part (22) which is integrally formed with the shorter binding piece part (21) and penetrates through the through-hole (11c) of the binding base (10) fixed at the back binder board (3), and which is connected to the binding plate (11). |
