Disclosed is a washing machine in which tilt angle and height of a drum are restricted for the purpose of user convenience. The washing machine includes a cabinet forming the external shape of the washing machine and provided with a laundry inlet through which laundry is put into and taken out of the washing machine, a tub provided in the cabinet to contain wash water, and a drum rotatably provided in the tub to contain the laundry. A drum angle corresponding to a tilt angle of the drum with respect to a rotary axis is 10 to 20 degrees, the minimum value of a drum height corresponding to a height from the bottom of the cabinet to the center of the laundry inlet is 720mm when the drum angle is 10 degrees, and is 680mm when the drum angle is 20 degrees, and as the drum angle increases, the minimum value of the drum height gradually decreases. |
