PURPOSE: A producing method of fatty acid methyl ester using a neutral catalyst is provided to perform the reaction with the high yield rate by controlling the amount of the neutral catalyst and methanol. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of fatty acid methyl ester using a neutral catalyst comprises a step of obtaining the fatty acid methyl ester from free lipid acid, fatty acid salt, or glycerin fatty acid ester using the neutral catalyst in a methanol solution. The neutral catalyst is selected from the group consisting of dimethyl sulfate, diethyl sulfate, dimethyl carbonate, and methyl iodine. The glycerin fatty acid ester is triglyceride, diglyceride, or monogrylceride. |
