The second connector comprises a housing configured for receiving the first contact terminal, and a second contact terminal arranged at least partially within the housing and comprising a second electrical contact surface portion configured to contact the first electrical contact surface portion of the first contact terminal in the mated state of the first connector and the second connector. At least one of the housing and the first contact terminal is shaped to prevent mechanical contact between the housing and the first electrical contact surface portion when mating the first and second connectors.</p>
