POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A power supply system and an operating method thereof are provided to suppress a power peak of an electric power system and to economically manage a power supply by connecting a power storage device to the electric power system in a parallel manner and predicting a power demand according to a traffic state on a road. CONSTITUTION: A power supply system(100) includes a feeding unit(120) connected to an electric power system, a power conversion unit(210), a power storage unit(220), an electric power system connection unit(230), and a power supply operation unit(240). A power measurement unit(130) is connected to an electric power system to measure the amount of power and the measured amount through a communication network to the power supply operation unit. The electric power system connection unit is connected between the electric power system and the power conversion unit. The power supply operation unit detects a power demand of each time period of a feeding unit and controls a charging operation and a discharging operation according to the power demand of each time period.
