Discloses a method for preparing a non-adenoviral target virus or one or more target protein(s) which is (are) not related to Adenovirus, which method comprises (a) culturing an expression cell obtained by infecting or transfecting a host cell, having stably integrated into its genome a gene coding for a Adenovirus PIX or a functional variant thereof as a heterologous regulator protein, wherein the functional variant is (i) an Adenovirus PIX mutant having one addition, one substitution and/or one deletion of one amino acid with respect to the wild-type Adenovirus PIX protein, or (ii) and Adenovirus PIX protein modified by fusion of (a) further active protein(s) or peptide(s) to said protein, and stably expressing said regulator protein or the functional variant thereof, with a non-adenoviral target virus, or with a vector carrying nucleic acid sequences encoding said virus, or with a vector carrying nucleic acid sequences encoding one or more target protein(s) which is (are) not related to Adenovirus, and (b) isolating the non-adenoviral target virus or the one or more target protein(s) which is (are) not related to Adenovirus. |
