PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system for a vehicle preventing an electric short circuit due to water between electrodes, a spark phenomenon between the electrodes due to short circuit, and discharging noises due to the spark phenomenon. SOLUTION: In this air-conditioning system for an automobile, an ion generator is provided in an inner passage of an air-conditioning case, and a first discharging electrode and a second discharging electrode of the ion generator project in the inner passage from the ion generator body away from each other. The system is provided with a short circuit prevention means for preventing electric short circuit of the first and second discharging electrodes due to water. The short circuit prevention means is a blocking baffle installed toward the inner passage between the first discharging electrode and the second discharging electrode, to block a water flow between the first discharging electrode and the second discharging electrode.
