<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker for interstitial pneumonia capable of assisting in more accurately performing the detection diagnosis of interstitial pneumonia, the evaluation and elapse observation of disease activity, especially an aftercare prospect without performing histopathological retrieval because the execution of surgical pulmonary biopsy is often difficult in relation to interstitial pneumonia and capable of simply performing measurement. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for determining interstitial pneumonia, the amount of IL-8 in blood is used as the index for analyzing or evaluating the determination or diagnosis of intestitial pneumonia, the specification of the kind of intestitial pneumonia, a degree of the advance possibility of the sympton of intestitial pneumonia, a risk degree, the pathophysiological state of intestitial pneumonia and/or the tendency of treatment responsiveness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
