<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag structure for a vehicle capable of suppressing a deforming action which may occur in the inflator installation area of an airbag cushion, simplifying the structure of the airbag cushion, increasing productivity, saving resources, and contributing ecology. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag structure for a vehicle includes a disk-like inflator 1 to the bottom surface 1a of which mounting bolts 6 joined to a vehicle side support member are integrally attached and in the bottom surface of which a connection recess 8 for connecting a harness for ignition is formed and an airbag cushion 2 for storing the entire part of the inflator therein while being installed in the installation area F in contact with the bottom surface of the inflator. Through holes 9 allowing the mounting bolts to project to the outside and an opening 10 allowing the recess for connection to be exposed to the outside are separately formed in the installation area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
