PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation cover, surely attached to a pneumatic hammer, and having a high sound insulation effect. SOLUTION: The sound insulation cover 20 has: a shell 21 covering a body 11 of the pneumatic hammer 10; and a cap 22 covering a head 11b of the pneumatic hammer 10. An exhaust air chamber 30 and an exhaust air channel 32 are formed between the body 11 and the shell 21. The cap 22 is formed with a spiral exhaust noise attenuating chamber 50. The upper end of the shell 21 is formed with first fitting portions 42, 43 into which the lower surface sides of handles 16a, 16b fit. The lower surface side of the cap 22 is formed with second fitting portions 65, 66 into which the upper surface sides of handles 16a, 16b fit. The shell 21 and the cap 22 are formed with belt attachment grooves 45, 70, respectively. A belt 75 is fitted into the belt attachment grooves 45, 70, so as to fix the cap 22 onto the shell 21.
