<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a high-quality panoramic image. <P>SOLUTION: A motion compensation parameter calculation part 303 calculates a parameter for compensating relative motion of an imaging apparatus which sequentially changes an imaging direction during imaging. A first connection line setting part 305 sets a center position in a direction of changing the imaging direction in an overlapped area of adjacent captured images, as a first connection line. A moving object detection part 306 detects a moving object in the overlapped area and generates object information. An object information projection part 307 projects the object information to a sweep axis. A second connection line setting part 308 sets a second connection line based on the projected object information. An imaging condition detection part 304 detects an imaging condition for generating two-dimensional rotation between captured images.
