<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost-effective flexible production of a stud projection part of a ball stud fastener. <P>SOLUTION: The ball stud fastener 1 includes: a first free end 3; a thread part 4; a mounting groove 9; a bead 10; and a stud projection part 2 including a column-shaped section 11, a conical section 12, and a second end 13. The mounting groove 9 designed for mounting a bellow 22 and the like to the stud projection part 2 is located between the thread part 4 and the conical section 12 in the axial direction and is provided with a first axial directional end facing the conical section 12. The first axial directional end is located next to the bead 10. The bead 10 is formed by cold molding in the axial direction. The column-shaped section 11 is located between the bead 10 and the conical section 12 and is generated by cold molding of the bead 10.
