<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting terminal system abnormality, wherein the apparatus detects an abnormality, such as a connection defect of a transmission line which is difficult to be detected by protocol analysis by means of a conventional protocol analyzer. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 20 for detecting the terminal system abnormality detects an abnormality in a terminal system 1 configured by connecting a plurality of terminals via a transmission line 10. The apparatus includes: a communication section 36 for transmitting/receiving signals to/from the plurality of terminals via the transmission line 10; a signal level-measuring section 33 for measuring signal levels of signals transmitted from the plurality of terminals; a reference signal level-determining section 52 for obtaining a reference signal level based on predetermined attenuation amount of signal levels of signals propagated via the transmission line 10; and an abnormality determining section 55 for determining the abnormality in the transmission line by comparing a signal level of a signal received from a prescribed terminal among the plurality of terminals with the reference signal level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
