PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split-type rolling bearing, relaxing vibration, abnormal sound, damage and so on due to a step caused between the mutual split surfaces of both outer ring split bodies constituting an outer ring member. SOLUTION: The outer ring member 20 is formed by both outer ring split bodies 21, 31 bisected in the circumferential direction. Split raceway surfaces 22, 32 of both outer ring split bodies 21, 31 are provided with first flanks 25, 35 joined with each other at the split surfaces 23, 33 of both outer ring split bodies 21, 31 to form a curve or a circular arc. Second flanks 26, 36 shaped in such a curve or a circular arc that the sides connected to the first flanks 25, 35 are deep and gradually become shallow as they approach the split raceway surface, are formed between the first flanks 25, 35 and the split raceway surfaces 22, 32.
