PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reclaim an ABS resin sorted and recovered from used home electric appliances or the like so as to enhance elongation properties to a level comparable to those of an unused ABS resin and permit repeated use as a styrene-based resin by maintaining the reclaimed ABS resin predominantly composed of styrene. SOLUTION: A method for producing a reclaimed ABS resin composition by reclaiming a sorted and recovered ABS resin includes: a first kneading step of melt-kneading 1-5 pts.wt. of the total of at least either one of calcium carbonate and calcium hydroxide based on 100 pts.wt. mixed resin consisting of 50-90 wt.% sorted and recovered ABS resin and the balance being an styrene elastomer; and a second kneading step of melt-kneading 0.8-5 pts.wt. ammonium chloride and 1-5 pts.wt. radical scavenger based on 100 pts.wt. of the mixed resin.
