<p>Disclosed is a panel for a display device, which is provided with a plurality of substrates (1) bonded to face each other. In the steps of manufacturing the panel, an electrode section (2) is formed on the peripheral portion of at least one of the substrates (1), and prior to bonding the substrates (1) to each other, electrical continuity of the electrode section (2) is checked. The electrode section (2) includes a linear section (2A0) formed along the outer circumference of the substrate (1), and a dividing section (2A) that divides the linear section (2A0).</p> |
