PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying fuel consumption of construction machinery and a method for calculating standard fuel mileage are provided to simultaneously output standard mileage and current mileage in real time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for displaying fuel consumption of construction machinery comprises a display unit(10) and a control unit. The display unit displays standard mileage and current mileage. The display unit comprises first and second areas(11,12). The control unit calculates standard mileage from a current working state and outputs the calculated standard mileage to the first area of the display unit. The control unit outputs current mileage transmitted from an engine control unit to the second area of the display unit.
