PURPOSE: A pigment composition is provided to exhibit improved color property, and excellent stability and dispersibility and to enable use for a color filter for a display. CONSTITUTION: A pigment composition includes a compound of chemical formula 1 as pigments for a color filter of a liquid crystal display. In chemical formula 1, Q is arbitrary pigments, n is an integer of 0~2, m is an integer of 1~4, R1-R3 are independently hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 aryl or OH group; A is -CH2- or -CH2-CH2-; and M is hydrogen or metal. The pigment(Q) is phthalocyanine, dioxazine, diketopyrrolopyrrole or PY150.
