<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shutdown period of a system using a medical image management device where the shutdown period is generated when backup data of a medical image management device exchanged for a new medical image management device is reflected on the new medical image management device. <P>SOLUTION: A medical image management system 100 includes a storage section of a medical image management device 4 which stores medical image information including image data, image setting information, and equipment setting information, a data bank 20 which stores backup data of the medical image information stored in the storage section, and a control section of the medical image management device which makes the data bank 20 back up the medical image information stored in the storage section, obtains backup data except the image data from the data bank 20 in making the storage section store the backup data stored in the data bank, makes the storage section store it, obtains backup data of the image data from the data bank 20 in the background, and then makes the storage section store the data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
