<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily and properly designate an area to be extracted from an image, in an image processor. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 extracts intersection points of straight lines extracted by the Hough transform or the like, in a photographic image stored in an image memory 102A. The intersection points close to four corners in each of four areas of the image are displayed as vertex candidates on a display part 105. When the user decides that the vertex candidate is a vertex for specifying a square area for extracting a target figure in the image and inputs information thereon, the digital camera 1 defines the vertex as the vertex for specifying the square area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
