PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel arithmetic device excellently selectively operating one state from configuration information having states of a plurality of stages. SOLUTION: The parallel arithmetic device receives input of an object code from the outside. The parallel arithmetic device includes a plurality of arithmetic units, associates and holds the configuration information described with a configuration of the plurality of arithmetic units and a configuration number that is a number for specifying the configuration information, changes the configuration of the plurality of arithmetic units into the configuration corresponding to the designated configuration number, and thereafter executes calculation by use of the arithmetic unit of a specific area corresponding to a designated activation number.
