PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of maintaining normal operation of an image display panel. SOLUTION: The image display device has the image display panel 1, and a housing 2 which houses the image display panel 1. The housing 2 is provided with an image display window 20, which makes a screen 10 of the image display panel 1 viewable from the outside. The housing 2 is also provided with a pair of vent holes 31, 41 that penetrate the housing 2 from the outside to the inside, and a channel 5, which is formed between a screen 10 of the image display panel 1 and the image display window 20 of the housing 2 and makes the pair of vent holes 31, 41 communicate with each other.
