<p>The invention relates to a method and installation meant to remove light contaminants upon making waste paper pulp from corrugated cardboard packages and recycled paper. The claimed method for removing light contaminants from the waste paper pulp consists in that, in order to remove the light contaminants retained and accumulated on the sieve of the disk strainer (12) of the installation, the connection between the said disk strainer (12) and the circulation pump (6) and the level box (7) placed on the tank of the rag thrasher (1) is closed and there is opened an automatic valve (15) which allows the water from a water supply path (14) to enter the disk strainer (12) from a direction opposing the circulation direction of the pulp, entraining the light contaminants and removing them outside by means of a removing path (11). The installation for removing the light contaminants from waste paper pulp for carrying out the claimed method comprises a rag thrasher (1) wherein there takes place the processing of the waste paper pulp, a level box (7) being provided on the tank of the rag thrasher (1), by means of said box, the resulting waste paper pulp enters a path for supplying with pulp (8) being transferred to a disk strainer (12) wherein the process of shredding the waste paper pulp takes place. The disk strainer (12) is provided with a sieve through which the fiber is taken over and on which the light contaminants are retained and accumulated, at the lower side of the disk strainer (12) there being provided an automatic valve (15) and a water supplying path (14). When the automatic valve (15) is opened, after closing the connection between the disk strainer (12) and the level box (7) and the circulation pump (6) the water enters the disk strainer (12) from a direction opposing the circulation direction of the pulp entraining the accumulated light contaminants and removing them outside by means of a removing path (11).</p> |
