PURPOSE: A heavy duty vehicle tire with an improved shoulder edge in which a groove is formed is provided to prevent the fracture of the groove because a protrusion is formed in the center of the groove so as to disperse stress applied to the groove. CONSTITUTION: A heavy duty vehicle tire comprises a tread(1), a side wall(2), and a bead portion(3). The tread has a shoulder edge(11) in which a groove(4) is formed. A protrusion(5) is formed in the center of the groove and has a curve(51) is formed in the portion connected to the groove.
