PURPOSE: A data transmission device for liquid crystal display device of a vehicle is provided to reduce data, RAM usage, and quantity of calculation of the microcomputer to mutually convert communication method of a microcomputer and a driver into serial and parallel. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(10) serially transmits data in serial while outputting a signal selecting a communication method to transmits the data in serial or in parallel when driving a single color LCD device. If a communication method selection signal is transmitted, a driver recognizes the data according to the communication method selection signal. If a communication method selection signal is serially transmitted, a connector(20) serially transmits data serially transmitted from microcomputer with a driver.
