VALVE BRIDGE WITH INTEGRATED LOST MOTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive engine brake system with high performance and reliability without causing a problem of packaging.

SOLUTION: The system includes: a valve train element; a rocker arm 200 pivotally mounted on a shaft 210 and adapted to rotate between a first position and a second position, the rocker arm selectively receiving motion from the valve train element; a valve bridge 310 disposed above the one or more engine valves; and a lost motion system 300 disposed in the valve bridge.
