<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent freezing of a fluid such as water with which heat exchange of a refrigerant is carried out in a plate type heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: A fluid utilization system includes: a refrigerant circuit wherein a compressor, the plate type heat exchanger, an expansion mechanism and a second heat exchanger are connected sequentially via a refrigerant pipe for circulating a refrigerant; and a fluid circuit wherein the plate type heat exchanger and a fluid utilization device are connected sequentially via a fluid pipe for circulating a fluid. In the fluid utilization system, the flow direction of the refrigerant is opposite to the flow direction of the fluid in the plate type heat exchanger during defrosting operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
