PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method of silencing a gene expression by transmitting a nucleic acid-lipid particle including a siRNA molecule.

SOLUTION: There are provided: a method of producing an SNALP (stable nucleic acid-lipid particle) including the SNALP which is effective to enclose one or a plurality of siRNA molecules using a complex lipid inhibiting an aggregation of a siRNA, a cationic lipid, a non-cationic lipid, and a particle; and a method of silencing an expression of a target gene sequence by transmitting and/or administering the SNALP to the SNALP including the siRNA and an object.
