<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital protection control unit continuously monitoring the soundness of a signal cable that relays analog signal between an input unit and a control unit. <P>SOLUTION: The input unit transmits the analog signal and a connection state signal, representing the soundness of the signal cable to the control unit; the control unit uses the same A/D converter for input of a reference signal supplied from the outside at adjustment work, and inputting of the connection state signal after completion of calculation of the correction parameter, namely, in an actual operation, to calculate correction parameters corresponding to input characteristics of the analog signal. As a result, continuous monitoring of the soundness of the signal cable becomes available, without having to add special circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
