摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a different material joining joint between a steel sheet and an aluminum alloy sheet whose joining strength can be made high by eliminating production itself of an Al-Fe-based brittle intermetallic compound layer in the joining interface of spot welding, and a different material joining method. SOLUTION: The different material joining joint is obtained by superimposing a steel sheet and an aluminum alloy sheet and joining them by spot welding. The interface reaction layer formed by the spot welding in the interface between the steel sheet and the aluminum alloy sheet is formed of a layered structure in which the intermetallic compound of Al and Cu and metal Al are superimposed on each other, and without providing the interface reaction layer with an intermetallic compound of Fe and Al, high joining strength can be obtained.
