PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a mobile object having a plurality of detection means for detecting the device or surrounding situations, so that the mobile object moves autonomously along a set route. SOLUTION: The mobile object control system includes a remote monitoring terminal 130 to be used by a monitoring person who monitors a mobile object, and an in-vehicle controller 110a communicatively connected to the remote monitoring terminal 130 via an electric wave and mounted on one mobile object to control the mobile object. The in-vehicle controller 110a includes a determining unit 114a for determining whether the mobile object can continue to autonomous movement, an inter-device communication determining unit 115a for determining whether communication can be established with the remote monitoring terminal 130, a locating unit 116a for locating a position where the communication can be established with the remote monitoring terminal 130, and a mobile object control unit 125a for controlling the mobile object to move autonomously to the position.
