PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus wherein noise, occurring from an electronic component which is mounted on a circuit board and is connected to a flexible substrate having signal lines, can be prevented from being propagated in a housing. SOLUTION: The portable electronic apparatus is equipped with: a circuit board 70 which is disposed in an operation part side housing 2 and has a reference potential pattern layer 75 formed on a first surface 70a; connectors 210 and 220 mounted on the first surface 70a; an FPC part 100 having signal lines connected to the connectors 210 and 220; and a case body 60 disposed on the side of the first surface 70a so as to be electrically connected to the reference potential pattern layer 75. A rib 62 of the case body 60 has a notch 65, and the FPC part 100 is inserted, between the circuit board 70 and the case body 60, via the notch 65 so as to close the notch 65.
