PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke reducing heating tool which remarkably suppresses generation of burnt smoke, oil mist and odor even in baking or roasting cooking at high temperature. SOLUTION: In the heating tool in which lava lumps or ceramic lumps are heated by a brazier with charcoal fire or city gas, and baking or roasting cooking is performed in its upper part, pearlite particles consists of a closed-cell structure in silicon oxide form prepared by firing and foaming obsidian, an apparent specific gravity of 0.1 to 0.2, and a particle diameter of 20 mm or more are spread covering the upper face of charcoal fire replacing the lava lumps or ceramic lumps, and baking or roasting cooking is performed by heating by city gas in the smoke reducing heating tool.
