PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cultivator which has a plurality of upward or downward movable portions and enables the lowering of cost, the reduction of weight and the prevention of wrong operations, when each movable portion is upward or downward moved with an electric motor. SOLUTION: The rotary cultivator includes movable portion-operating devices 33L, 85, 108 for upward downward moving the movable portions 28, 9, 8 with respect to the movable portions 28, 9, 8, includes rotation operation rods for being rotated on the axes to upward or downward move the movable portions 28, 9, 8 on the movable portion-operating devices 33L, 85, 108, provided with a fitting portion for detachably fitting to the output shaft 62 of the electric motor 56 to rotate the rotation operation rod with the electric motor 56, on one axial side of each rotation operation rod, and formed with the fitting portion of the rotation operation rod of each movable portion-operating devices 33L, 85, 108 in a state of being fittable to the output shaft 62 of the electric motor 56.
