PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating system of an optical fiber with a color concentrate having an additive for lubricity. SOLUTION: The coating system 400 includes: primarily coating an optical fiber core 406 with a primary coating material 409 using a primary mold 408; and thereafter secondarily coating the fiber core with a coloring secondary mixture 426 containing a release agent using a secondary mold 428. The coloring secondary mixture 426 containing the release agent is prepared by selectively mixing predetermined amounts of a color agent and a concentrate 412 including the release agent into an ultraviolet-curing diluted coating material 418.
