PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication node and a communication system capable of effectively transmitting and receiving a packet with less delay than a conventional one. SOLUTION: Address checkup by an address checkup means 22 and switching of a connecting channel by a channel selecting means 31 are performed in a slave 10a, when a wait region W is output from an outputting means 26. Therefore, data 1 can be output without delay just after the address region AD and the wait region W of the packet P are transmitted in each of the slaves 10a to 10c on a transmission channel 3, and the packet can be effectively transmitted and received with less delay than the conventional one.
