PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the heat treatment of a metal tube 10 even in a portion in which an in-tube insertion and diameter-expansion mechanism 50 is inserted in a hollow part of the metal tube 10 to be bent, similarly to other portion. SOLUTION: The in-tube insertion and diameter-expansion mechanism 50 is inserted to the fore end side of the metal tube 10, and end-side insertion parts 52-54 are held by fore end-side clamps 48 of a turning arm 40. While distal-side expansion/contraction parts 55-59 are contracted, the metal tube 10 at the parts is subjected to the heat treatment by an inductor 23 or the like. Thereafter, the distal-side expansion/contraction parts 55-59 are expanded to arrange the topple-preventive state, and the metal tube 10 is bent by the heat treatment using the inductor 23 or the like and the turn of the turning arm 40.
