The present invention relates to a computer having a standby power cutoff function for a peripheral device and can prevent the waste of power by fully shutting off the power to be supplied to a peripheral device and a power supply in an off-state of a computer so as to fully shut off the standby current of the computer and the standby current of the peripheral device. That is, the computer of the present invention comprises: a power cutoff switch unit (110) and a peripheral device power supply socket unit (120) which are provided at a power supply (230); and a power operation sensing unit (131) which controls the power to be supplied to the power supply (230) by sensing an operating signal inputted from a power switch (240) to a main board (210) to control the power cutoff switch unit (110) and delays the operating signal inputted from the power switch (240) to the main board (210). Accordingly, the present invention prevents power loss due to standby power by shutting off the power to be supplied to the computer and the peripheral device in the off-state of the computer using the power cutoff switch unit for shutting off the power to be supplied to the peripheral device and the power supply through the power operation sensing unit for sensing the operation of the power switch. |
