The invention relates to techniques for disinfecting domestic and industrial wastewater to be used as the basis for organo-mineral fertilizers. The proposed disinfection method is carried out by exerting a high-speed pulsed vacuum effect on sewage sludge using a reservoir and fast-acting valves, with a pulse duration of not more than 1.0 second and at a pressure of not more than 20 mm Hg until the required level of disinfection is reached. The technical result of using the invention is that of speeding up the disinfection process and simplifying the method.
