The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for coding format identification and transformation, as well as a processing method and system thereof. In the present invention, based on the coding transformation information of a preset first account number group and the coding transformation information of a preset second account number group, searching out the source coding format adopted by the information sent from a source account number in the communication protocol specified in the home area, and the target coding format accepted by a target account number. Thereby the coding format of the sent information and the coding format expected by the target account number can be accurately determined, thus coding transformation errors can be avoided. And presetting the coding transformation information of each account number, and subsequently searching the actually adopted coding format based on the searching scheme, not only enable the searching result accurate and also facilitate the system extension, thus implementing the flexible configuration.
