摘要 <p>Disclosed are: metal nanowires which have excellent heat resistance and high electrical conductivity, while maintaining excellent light transmittance; a method for producing the metal nanowires; a transparent conductor; and a touch panel. Specifically disclosed are metal nanowires which are characterized by having a major axis average length of not less than 1 µm and being composed of silver and a metal other than silver. The metal nanowires are also characterized in that the metal other than silver is a metal that is nobler than silver, and when the content of the metal other than silver in the metal nanowires is represented by P (atom%) and the minor axis average length of the metal nanowires is represented by F (nm), the P and F satisfy the following formula (1): 0.1 < P × F0.5 < 30. In this connection, P (atom%) is within the range of 0.010-13 atom%, and F is within the range of 5-100 nm.</p>
