<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a drive control apparatus which drives a brushless DC motor at high efficiency by using a non-complementary PWM switching output, and carries out current control in with high precision, without using an analog current detection circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A PWM ratio determination unit 5 determines the most efficient drive control mode and the PWM duty ratio for the current flowing through each phase, by receiving only the axial angle and the rotational angular speed detected from a drive motor and a target current required for driving of the motor; a PWM signal generator 4 generates the PWM signal of each phase, based on this drive control mode and PWM duty ratio; and a half-bridge circuit 7, constituting a drive circuit 3 provides a drive current to each phase of the motor, based on this PWM signal in a state that includes the open state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
