PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit that allows, without changing data structures of integrally coupled video streams and offset information, a function for extracting the offset information from them to be mounted in various modes.

SOLUTION: An integrated circuit receives a main-view/sub-view video stream and a graphics stream and performs video signal processing. The sub-view video stream contains a sub-view picture and metadata of a stereoscopic video image. The metadata are disposed for each GOP and contain offset information. Each of the streams is multiplexed into a transport stream (TS). A TS packet in a sub-view TS includes a TS priority flag. The TS priority flag of a TS packet including the metadata has a value different from that of the TS priority flag of a TS packet including a sub-view picture. In the integrated circuit, a signal processing section monitors the TS priority flag of the TS packet and extracts the metadata.
