PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning receiver capable of distinguishing noise from a direct wave with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The positioning receiver receives spectrum-spread signals from positioning satellites such as a GPS satellite, and the receiver includes: a correlator 3 for calculating a correlation value of a signal received by an antenna 1 within a period of time determined in accordance with a vehicle speed with respect to a spreading code; and a determination part 6 for determining whether the signal received within the period of time determined in accordance with the vehicle speed is a direct wave or noise depending on whether a change in the correlation value calculated by the correlator 3 correlates with the vehicle speed.
