PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk array device capable of improving reliability. SOLUTION: In a disk array device a control section has a first controller and a second controller, each of a plurality of storage sections has a first disk controller and a second disk controller, the first controller or the second controller determines whether first information indicating the connection order of the first disk controller from the first controller and second information indicating the connection order of the second disk controller in the same storage section as the first disk controller from the second controller agree with each other, and if the first information and the second information do not agree with each other, access to the storage section is inhibited.
