PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude image processing such as gamma correction processing, contrast correction processing and white balance correction processing from factors of disturbing guarantee of originality by producing verification data for which influences of such image processing is reduced. SOLUTION: A boundary information calculating section 211 detects a pixel value of which the difference from an unreal pixel value becomes 1, from among pixel values really existing in image data inputted and produces, as first verification target information, information indicating whether or not the detection is made successful and information specifying a position of a pixel having the pixel value detected successfully if detected successfully. Each time two pixels are selected from the image data inputted in accordance with a preset random number, an order information calculating section 212 produces, as second verification target information, information specifying a magnitude relationship between the two pixels selected. A verification data producing section 213 produces verification data for image data signature using the first verification target information and the second verification target information.
